Until 24 June 2015, the KPK Selection Panel (Pansel KPK) have opened registration for Indonesian citizens to participate in candidate selection of KPK leadership. Aside from opening registration, Pansel members are also actively meeting various institutions and communities to gather support, input and advice for the selection process. The purpose of these meetings were to screen candidates of KPK leaders that can live up to public expectations, KPK's needs and challenges going forward, as well as a more effective agenda on corruption eradication.
WEEKLY SUMMARY:
On Monday, 8 June 2015, there were six notable updates. Firstly, the Attorney General's office was urged to focus its efforts on gathering of evidence to avoid court acquital due to lack of evidence. Such circumstance had occurred in previous trials, including the case involving Mayor of Indramayu, Irianto MS Syafiuddin.

The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is suggested asking for a fatwa to the Supreme Court (MA) in order to recruit investigators. MA’s spokesperson said, MA can only give fatwa on procedural laws, but not for other organizations.
