KPK says they don't have recordings of criminalization of two non-active KPK leaders as well as their investigators, as claimed by Novel Baswedan during his testimony in a material testing session of KPK Law article 32 paragraph 2 at the Constitutional Court.

The Selection Committee (Pansel) for KPK leadership invites the involvement of police force, attorney general office, and the National Intelligence Agency (BIN) to help with track records of the candidate. Track record investigations, particularly by the police, was intended to avoid having another leader of KPK being investigated in a criminal case while on duty.
 

"Prosecuted in a Political Corruption, Anas' Sentence Increased"

Anas Urbaningrum, a former General Chairman of Democratic Party and a former member of the Commission X in the parliament (DPR), was sentenced to 14 years in prison and a fine of Rp 5 billion or 1 year 4 months of confinement. The Supreme Court (MA) also deprive his political rights to occupy public office.

KPK was reluctant to comment on the involvement of Ibas in an alleged corruption of an SKK Migas project. KPK need further confirmation beforehand regarding the involvement of Edhie Baskoro Yudhoyono as exposed by Sutan Bhatoegana.

Mahfud MD, former Chairman of the Constitutional Court (MK), called former minister Dahlan Iskan's naming as suspect in a corruption case should be used as a lesson. He thinks public officials are vulnerable to be named as suspect in corruption cases although they had no intention of corruption.
