Head of Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Bareskrim) Commissioner General Budi Waseso insisted that the defamation case involving two Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW) activists, Emerson Yuntho and Adnan Topan Husodo, is not a press offense. Accordingly, the police will move forward in accordance with the Criminal Law.

Selection Committee (Pansel) of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Leadership announced 194 names of candidates who qualified for the administrative requirements out of 611 registrants. Both argued that they are still processing Romli's report to the Press Council.
