Gratification in the medical profession
A story recently surfaced about gratification that passed from pharmaceutical companies to physicians. According to a report by Tempo, there are extensive collusions between pharmaceutical companies and physicians in order to prescribe specific medications for patients. These stories raised the question: can physicians be charged with the Law on Corruption Crimes?

Civil Society Organizations rate the performance of the current period House of Representatives (DPR) poorly compared to the previous term, making them undeserving of a new compound. The poor performance can be measured by the low legislation output. From 39 proposed bills, only two have been passed as legislation to date.

The Attorney General Office (Kejagung) was demanded to handover investigation on corruption of Social Aid and Grant Fund at the North Sumatera Provincial Adiminstration to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). This was considered necessary to avoid conflict of interest.
To Replace the Attorney General
The national civil society is escalating pressures to oust the the reigning Attorney General. Essentially, they consider the AG to have performed poorly during his tenure, particularly in enforcing the law, human rights and corruption eradication.
