President Joko Widodo has pocketed eight names of candidate commissioners for the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) who were submitted by the Selection Committee for KPK leadership (Pansel KPK) in Merdeka Palace, Jakarta. The eight names were grouped into four category of competence, prevention, enforcement, management, and supervision-coordination-monitoring.

Witness testified that OC Kaligis, the suspect on bribery case for judges and clerks at Medan Administrative Court (PTUN), was short of money to bribe three judges. Kaligis then asked for an additional USD 25,000 from Evy Susanti, wife of North Sumatera Governor, Gatot Pujo Nugroho.
