The Selection Committee of for leadership of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) scrutinized banking transactions and assets of three from 19 candidates that were eligible for interview. Police Inspector General (Ret) Yotje Mende was among the candidates that were questioned regarding his wealth reports.

Jakarta Corruption Court held a the first hearing in the case implicating lawyer Otto Cornelis Kaligis, today (27/8). Deputy Chairman of KPK, Indriyanto Seno Aji, said that KPK was prepared to present Kaligis at the hearing after receiving examination results from the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI).
