KPK Commissioner disagree with KPK Law revision, especially with regards to wiretapping authority which they claim to be a primary evidence and the heart of KPK's authority. Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasonna Laoly, meanwhile, said there would be five reviews in the revision. The revision would only address parties that have been processed pro justitia, articles related to prosecutorial authority would be adjusted with Attorney General Office, a supervisory board would be established to supervise KPK in carrying out its duties, articles to regulate leadership duties if any commissioner is absent, and strengthening of the collective collegial regulations.

The EMR corruption trial at Jakarta Corruption Court yesterday presented a witnesses who served as Chief of Maintenance Division of the General Secretariat Bureau at the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM). The witness admitted that his role in the case is helping Waryono, Secretary General of the Ministry, to collect money from partners working on the ministry building maintenance project in 2012 to the amount of 150 million rupiahs.

Inspector General of Police Yotje Mende downplayed importance of state official's wealth report (LHKPN). The police officer had registered himself as candidate for KPK leadership to KPK selection committee. He said he would only renew his LHKPN report if requested by the selection committee.

Attorney General have detained JP, Head of Bina Marga at Public Works Office in Tego, Jambi, on allegation of road asphalt corruption. He allegedly embezzled public fund for Procurement and Development of Paket 10 (road asphalt on Pal 12 – Road 21) and Paket 11 (road asphalt on Muara Niro – Muara Tabun) at the Public Works Office of Tebo during the fiscal year 2013-2015.
"Supreme Judge demand Supreme Court to regulate pretrials"

Supreme Judge have proposed three option for Supreme Court to regulate pretrials. First, to publish an official stance on Judge Sarpin Rizaldi's ruling that favored pretrial appeal of former police chief candidate Commissioner General Budi Gunawan by expanding pretrial authority to review case materials. Second, to limit pretrial authority only to review legitimacy of detention, legitimacy of prosecution termination, and compensation and rehabilitation of suspects and their families. Third, to let pretrial judges decide whether to rely on the Criminal Code (KUHAP) in their rulings or to implement expanded authority as taken by Judge Sarpin.
